Introducing: Chef’s Tasting at The Chocolate Moose

A new and exciting offering for the 2024 season, the Chef’s Tasting menu is a 9-15 course tasting experience. A combination between the classical and the contemporary, this menu endeavors to challenge our chefs and guests alike to connect with their food in new and unexpected ways!

What to Expect

This is a 10-person, 2-hour, communally seated, interactive dining experience that consists of… well… whatever has ahold of our imaginations at the moment. Hand-made pastas and artisan breads. Fresh seafood and precision cooked meats. Classical preparations and whimsical flights of fancy. This menu provides guests with a stimulating, and well-rounded dining experience, with more than a little Ely flair sprinkled in throughout.

Beverage Pairings

A variety of carefully curated beverage pairings (both alcohol inclusive and exclusive) are available at the time of booking. In addition, our full a la carte beverage menu as well as an extensive bottle list are available to all guests.

When is it Available?

Our Chef’s Tasting menu is only offered on Saturday and Sunday nights. We only offer one seating, which begins at 6 o’clock, and we encourage guests to arrive early whenever possible. Late arrivals will be seated, but can expect to join the menu already in progress.

How to Book

While reservations are not required, no seats are reserved for walk-in diners, and reservations are strongly encouraged. Please note, that while care will be taken to seat reserved groups together, all seating will take place at our countertop bar, and no table seating is offered for this experience.

(A $25 Deposit is required to secure your reservation, and will be credited toward your bill upon arrival. This is not reflective of the total cost of the experience)

Is Table Seating Available?

While accommodations can be made for guests with disabilities, the interactive nature of this menu does not facilitate table seating, and guests should expect to be seated at the high top counter at the bar.

Can You Accommodate Large Parties?

The limited seating capacity of this dining experience makes it less than ideal for large parties, though they are not prohibited. This menu is designed to encourage frequent interaction with your chefs and fellow diners, and does not facilitate uninterrupted, private conversation. Current seating availability for this menu is limited to the availability reflected on the Chef’s Tasting experience on our Tock page.

Are Walk-in Seats Available?

No walk-in seats are put aside for the Chef’s Tasting Menu and walk-in seating is strictly subject to availability. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Can you Accommodate Dietary Restrictions?

Yes! Accommodations will be made for guests with all manner of dietary restrictions. While we make every effort to ensure a comparable dining experience, certain concessions may be expected in the case of severely restrictive diets. Advance notice with details of any and all dietary restrictions is greatly appreciated and enables us to provide a more complete experience.

Is there a kids menu available?

No, due to the limited seating capacity for this menu, only diners receiving the full menu can be accommodated.

Are the Supper Club Menus the same as the Tasting Menu?

No, the Tasting Menu experience is only available twice per week, is completely separate from the Supper Club, and needs to be reserved separately.
