Coming into the 2024 Season, we’re throwing all of our energy into taking every one of our menu offerings to the next level! Unfortunately, this means we’re going to be taking a step back from daily Lunch and Breakfast service. In their place, we’re excited to announce the introduction of
Brunch at The Chocolate Moose!
What’s New?
Everything! Well… almost everything. We’re reinventing our breakfast menu with an eye towards premium offerings, scratch cooking, and elevated fare. While you’ll still find some of your old favorites from years past, we’re also branching out into new and exciting dishes that you won’t find anywhere else in Ely!
When is it Available?
Beginning on Memorial Day Weekend, Brunch at The Chocolate Moose will be available on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout the Summer, from 10 am to 2 pm. Check the calendars below, or check out our Tock page for Reservations and Availability.

Consider this an invitation to treat yourself to the finer things in life. This menu features delicacies such as house-cured gravlax, duck confit, butter-poached lobster, and of course our famous Liege waffles. From duck fat smashed fingerling potatoes, to house-smoked bacon; hand-stuffed breakfast sausage, to fresh crab cakes made from 100% real crab, we’re taking the time to bring you premium, scratch-made dishes, because frankly, you’re worth the effort!
And did we mention? The long awaited return of our house-made, fresh baked Croissants and Pastries!

What to Expect?

Can I Reserve Outdoor Seating?
Depending on weather and staffing considerations, outdoor seating may be available upon request, and will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that outdoor seating is not subject to reservations, and requests for outdoor seating may prolong our ability to seat parties at their reserved time. If you would like to request outdoor seating, please make a note in your reservation, and we will accommodate, to the best of our ability, upon the arrival of your party.
Are Walk-in Seats Available?
Yes! Due to factors such as inclement weather, only a portion of our dining room is allotted for reservations. Check our Tock page to see current wait times, and add your name to the wait list!
Are Dietary Restrictions Accomodated?
Yes! We’ve designed this menu to provide options for all major dietary restrictions! Please inform your server upon arrival so that we may best cater to your needs.
Can I Still do a Build-Your-Own Breakfast Combo?
While individual sides are available a la carte, ordering is strictly limited to the items listed on the menu.
Is there a kids menu available?
Yes, a kids menu will be made available!
Are To-Go Orders Available?
Yes, our full menu is available for carry out, and can be placed in-person or over the phone!
Are To-Go Pastries Available?
Yes! It should be noted, however, that the supply of pastries is limited to our expected capacity for the day. Advance notice of larger orders is greatly appreciated!
