About Us

We’re a couple of chefs from the Twin Cities who are passionate about sharing our love of dining with anyone who cares to join in. Both coming from classically trained backgrounds, we met in 2015 when we worked together at Travail Kitchen and Amusements. Our time there proved transformative for both our relationship with food, and our perspective on the dining experience as a whole. Our food comes from a commitment to hard work, curiosity, and a spirit of perpetual refinement.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between “food” and “experience”, and to create an environment that is immersive, unpretentious, welcoming, and fun.

Since taking over operations of The Moose in 2021, no two years have looked the same. We’re incredibly grateful to have found a community so welcoming and eager for what comes next, as we continue writing this new chapter in the legacy of
The Chocolate Moose.
